Four Butte College men's basketball players picked up All-Golden Valley Conference honors, announced Saturday, Feb. 18.
Sophomores Rolontae Knowles and Ozzy Meadows led the way with All-GVC honors, while sophomore Isaac Wood earned an honorable mention. Freshman Marvelous Owens was named to the All-Defensive Team.
Knowles was the team's leading scorer all season, averaging 17.2 points per game. Meadows averaged 8.1 rebounds per game and second-most points with a 14.6 per game average. Wood was the team's third-leading scorer, starting all ten conference games. He posted 12.7 points per game. After joining the team after football season, Owens averaged 9.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 3.1 steals in conference play.
